Corsair Vengeance C70 Case Review

The Disk Drive Bays

The Corsair Vengeance C70 has three 5.25” external bays and six 3.5”/2.5” internal bays in two hard drive cages. Installation of 5.25” and 3.5” devices can be done without the use of tools or screws, but you must use regular screws to install 2.5” devices.

The hard drive cages are removable. You can remove the top cage if you want to install video cards longer than 12.6” (320 mm), and you can remove the bottom cage if you want to install a radiator on the bottom panel. Removing both cages at the same time is not practical, as you won’t have bays available for installing a hard drive or an SSD.

Each 3.5”/2.5” bay is actually a small drawer, as you can see in Figure 22. The pegs that hold 3.5” devices have rubber rings to reduce vibration and absorb noise.
