Deepcool V6000 VGA Cooler Review

Conclusions

The Deepcool V6000 is big and heavy, and the fans are also big and powerful. The only problem is that after installing it, your video card will use four (yes, four) expansion slots from your case. Therefore, if you want to have a second video card in your system, your motherboard must have a distance of five slots between the two PCI Express x16 slots, and if you want to have two video cards with the V6000 installed you will need a case with eight expansion slots.

Its weight must be kept in mind when moving your computer around, since a harder bump can damage your hardware, if your case doesn’t have an extra bracket to hold video cards at their ends.

The installation of the V6000 is a breeze, and it offers compatibility to virtually any video card, thanks to a big set of installation holes. The heatsinks that come with the V6000 can also fit the memory chips and voltage regulator transistors of any VGA.

The Deepcool V6000 is indeed a high-end VGA cooler. It performed as good as the best video card cooler we tested so far, while being quieter than it. So, the Deepcool V6000 deserves the Hardware Secrets Golden Award.
