The MSI FM2-A85XA-GD65 provides several overclocking options. Below, we list the most important ones available at the motherboard’s setup (1.0 B15 BIOS):

  • CPU clock multiplier: From x8 to x63 in x1 increments
  • CPU boost clock multiplier: From x8 to x63 in x1 increments
  • Memory controller (“CPU NB”) clock multiplier: From x8 to x31 in x1 increments
  • CPU voltage: From 0.90000 V to 1.65000 V in 0.01250 V increments
  • CPU PLL voltage: From 2.42000 V to 2.70000 V in 0.02000 V increments
  • CPU 1.2 V voltage: From 1.922 V to 1.501 V in 0.006 V increments
  • Memory controller (“CPU NB”) voltage: From 1.0000 V to 1.50000 V in 0.01250 V increments
  • Chipset voltage (“FCH voltage”): From 0.90 V to 1.30 V in 0.02 V increments
  • Memory voltage: From 1.297 V to 1.891 V in 0.015 V increments

The motherboard also has voltage monitoring points, where you can read the voltage of the CPU (CPU_CORE, CPU_NB, CPU_1.2V, and CPU_PLL) and memory using a voltmeter. The MSI FM2-A85XA-GD65 also provides the “OC Genie” button, where you can overclock the system automatically.
