Figure 11 shows the backplate and the four screws that must be installed on the solder side of the motherboard prior to installing the Respire T40. Figure 12 shows the tips of the screws on the component side, with the plastic spacers installed.

In Figure 13, you can see the two metal pieces wherein the cooler will be screwed.

Then put the heatsink in place, and attach it to the metal pieces using a third bar and two nuts.

The last step is to reinstall the fan.
