The Raven RV03 comes with a terrific price for its category and, at least on paper, it would be an excellent option for high-end users who want a fully-loaded mid-tower case at a very affordable price. However, this case has too many serious flaws for us to recommend it.
Strong Points
- Innovative design
- Good price for the features available
- You can choose between using solid or meshed (with air filters) 5.25” bay covers
- Air filters for the bottom fans
- Air filter for the power supply fan
- Support for 10 hard drives
- Support for two 2.5” devices
- Two big fans with speed controllers
- Eight expansion slots
- Holes for routing cables behind the motherboard tray
- Anti-vibration mechanisms for the 3.5” hard drives
Weak Points
- If the rear fan is installed you “kill” the eighth expansion slot
- The bottom air filters kept falling from the case during our review
- You need to disassemble too many parts to install hard drives
