Figure 7 shows the top of the cooler, where you can see the tips of the heatpipes.

The base of the cooler is seen in Figure 8. Notice that the six nickel-plated copper heatpipes keep direct contact to the CPU. There are no gaps between the heatpipes at the base; gaps occur frequently in the newer direct-touch heatpipes’ coolers.

The wires from the three fans are connected to a single three-pin connector, as you see in Figure 9.
