Cooler Master Seidon 120M CPU Cooler Review
Installation
Contents
In Figure 9, you can see the backplate for installing the Seidon 120M on Intel socket LGA775, LGA1150, LGA1155, LGA1156, and LGA1366 systems. Socket LGA2011 CPUs use the stock backplate. There is also a backplate for AMD computers.
In order to install the cooler, you have to attach two holders to the block. Figure 10 shows the holders for Intel systems attached to the block; there is also a pair of holders for use with AMD processors.
Put the backplate on the solder side of the motherboard, and install the four nuts shown in Figure 11 on the component side.
The last step is to install the system inside the computer, attaching the block on the CPU and the radiator on the rear panel. We installed as the manual instructed, with the fan in the inner side of the radiator, blowing outwards. You can install the Seidon 120M with two fans if you wish. We used only one fan, but we had to use an empty fan frame as a spacer to fit the radiator in our case.
