The CPU voltage regulator circuit of the Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming G1 WIFI-BK has eight phases for the CPU. The voltage regulator uses an IR3580 controller chip (digital design).
The cooler of the voltage regulator circuit is prepared for a liquid cooling system.

The Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming G1 WIFI-BK uses high-end “black” solid capacitors (a.k.a. 10K capacitors) and all coils on this motherboard are ferrite ones.
