MSI P55-GD80 Motherboard
Overclocking Options (Cont’d)
Contents
The main options we could see (1.4 BIOS) were:
- CPU base clock: can be adjusted from 100 MHz to 600 MHz in 1 MHz increments.
- PCI Express clock: can be adjusted from 90 MHz to 190 MHz in 1 MHz increments.
- CPU differential amplitude (“CPU amplitude control”): 700 mV to 1 V in 100 mV increments.
- PCI Express amplitude
control: 700 mV to 1 V in 100 mV increments. - CPU voltage: From 0.9 V to 2.1 V (with overvoltage switch off) or from 1.0 V to 2.2 V (with overvoltage switch on), in 0.006 V increments.
- CPU VTT voltage: From 0.482 V to 2.092 V (with overvoltage switch off) or from 0.682 V to 2.292 V (with overvoltage switch on), in 0.016 V increments.
- Memory voltage: From 0.930 V to 2.430 V (with overvoltage switch off) or from 1.130 V to 2.630 V (with overvoltage switch on), in 0.015 V increments.
- CPU clock generator (PLL) voltage: From 0.2 V to 2.4 V in 0.1 V increments.
- Chipset (PCH) voltage: From 0.464 V to 1.964 V (with overvoltage switch off) or from 0.664 V to 2.164 V (with overvoltage switch on), in 0.015 V increments.
- Memory data reference voltage: From 0.450 V to 1.150 V in 0.025 V increments (for each memory module).
Memory timings can also be tweaked.
