Overclocking Options

The new ASRock 890FX Deluxe4 provides several overclocking options. It has a dynamic overclocking function, where you can easily overclock your CPU from 0% to 20% in 4% increments, and also an automatic overclocking function called “Turbo UCC.” Below we list only the main ones available on the 1.00 BIOS.

• CPU reference clock: From 150 MHz to 500 Hz in 1 MHz steps
• PCI Express clock: From 75 MHz to 250 MHz in 1 MHz steps
• CPU voltage: From 0.6000 V to 2.000 V in 0.0125 V steps
• CPU clock multiplier (VDDA) voltage: From 2.56 V to 2.70 V in 0.14 V steps
• Memory controller voltage (VDDNB): From 0.6000 V to 1.5500 V in 0.0125 V steps
• Memory voltage: From 1.250 V to 2.065 V in 0.010 V steps
• HyperTransport voltage: From 1.105 V to 1.505 V in 0.05 V steps
• PCI Express clock generator (VDDA) voltage: From 1.81 V to 1.92 V in 0.1 V steps

As mentioned, this motherboard has a core unlocking feature, available under “ASRock UCC” in the motherboard setup. This function allows you to unlock hidden CPU cores on selected AMD CPUs.
