Although the Loki character in fiction and mythology is a villain, the Xigmatek Loki is a good value/mainstream CPU cooler. It performed better than the Cooler Master Hyper TX3, from whom it seems to be “inspired.”
It is a shame that the Xigmatek Loki has an installation issue that prevents it from correctly pressing the CPU. This must be corrected by the manufacturer, but you can easily avoid problems by installing the clips over the base and not under it, or even bending the holding arms in order to allow the screws to apply force.
Considering its good cooling performance and excellent price/performance ratio, the Xigmatek Loki receives our Bronze Award.
