Borderlands 2 is a very recent game, released in 2012, supporting NVIDIA’s PhysX technology. We used the in-game benchmarking utility at 1920×1080, disabling PhysX and configuring all image quality settings at their lowest values.
The A10-5800K again achieved the highest performance; however, the frame rate was very low to play this game comfortably, even reducing the image quality settings to their lowest. Here the A10-5800K was 11% faster than the A8-3870K, 27% faster than the GeForce GT 440, and 136% faster than the Core i3-3220. The Core i3-2105 was not capable of running this game.
