The nickel-plated, direct-touch heatpipes with a diameter of 6 mm are shown in Figure 6.

Figure 7 shows the fan that comes with the ETS-T40-TA. It has a four-pin connector, which means it supports PWM speed control. There is a tape with LEDs in the inner side of the fan frame.

In Figure 8 you see the base of the cooler, where the heatpipes touch the CPU directly. The nickel-plated finishing is mirrored. You can also see the Dow Corning TC-5121 thermal compound that comes with the cooler; it’s a shame that the quantity of compound is enough for only a single installation.
